Summary: This is an easy, hike in a suburban setting suitable for bikes and strollers. This portion is entirely cement. It has 2 bridges crossing the river. The first one actually crosses just below where the North San Gabriel joins the South San Gabriel. The second crosses the North San Gabriel near the end of the hike.

Trailhead

From IH35, take the Williams Drive exit. Northbound, go right on Williams, right on Austin Ave. (by McDonalds). Cross both bridges, and make the first right on 2nd Street. Southbound, go left on Williams, right on Austin Ave. (by McDonald’s). Cross both bridges, and make the first right on 2nd Street. Park anywhere along the street. Go right at the “T”.
